Late night drivers on Highway 1 westbound should prepare for a detour to make way for Port Mann Highway 1 construction.
According to a recent bulletin, Highway 1 westbound will be closed at Brunette Avenue between midnight and 4 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10 and Wednesday, Dec. 11 to allow crews to install an overhead guide sign near the Cariboo overpass.
Drivers will be detoured off the highway at Brunette Avenue to Lougheed Highway but will be able to reconnect to Highway 1 via the Gaglardi Way on-ramp.
During this closure the Brunette westbound on-ramp will also be closed.
Detour routes for these closures will be well-signed. Caution is advised.
