Justin Comeau
Pinetree Secondary (Coquitlam)
What are your plans after graduation?
- After graduation, I will be studying Mechatronics Systems Engineering at SFU.
What are you most proud of during your high school years?
- During my high school years, I was most proud of my ability to adapt to new environments, to create positive change. From starting the American Sign Language Club to captaining a new volleyball team to win the Fraser North Championships where I was awarded MVP and BC School Sports Athlete of the Month.
What would you change about your high school years?
- If I could go back in time to do high school again, I would join more clubs, sports teams, events and programs, to have more experiences and make more connections.
What does being a valedictorian mean to you?
- As one of the co-valedictorians, I am honoured to follow in the footsteps of my older sister Abigail, representing the graduating class of Pinetree Secondary. Having this opportunity with one of my oldest friends by my side is quite rewarding. It is truly an honour to speak on behalf of such an incredible class.
What advice do you have for the next graduation class?
- The advice I have for the class of 2025 and onwards is to be yourselves and treat others how you want to be treated. Even something as simple as a smile can go a long way.
