Tri-City companies and groups wanting their business or cause a boost can take part in the City of Port Coquitlam’s annual May Day parade.
Registration opened this week for applicants to sign up for the 102nd procession around downtown Port Coquitlam, which is sponsored by the Centennial Rotary Club.
Happening from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 10, 2025, the parade is one of the longest running in Metro Vancouver; last year, it drew nearly 100 entries and was viewed by 22,000 spectators who travelled in for the day-long festivities in the city core as well as at the Port Coquitlam Community Centre.
Businesses and non-profits have until April 16, 2025, to join the parade.
Here are the fees:
- commercial float entry: $75
- incorporated non-profit or municipal entry: $25
- unincorporated non-profit entry: No charge
