The Christmas Tea Lights experience is returning to Camp Howdy in Belcarra beginning Nov. 15.

A enchanting holiday experience that includes a boat ride from Port Moody’s Rocky Point Park and dining amidst thousands of glowing twinkle lights in the forest is returning.

Christmas Tea Lights will set Camp Howdy in Belcarra aglow Fridays through Sundays beginning Nov. 15 to Dec. 23.

The event is put on by 123Festivals and the proprietors of the 8 Corners tea house that’s located next to təmtəmíxwtən/Belcarra Regional Park.

They’ve transformed the the shores of Indian Arm into a magical wonderland of more than 150,000 lights draped through the trees and bushes as well as along walkways and the dock.

As the dirt road access to the Camp Howdy site isn’t approved for commercial use, the only way to get there is by a specially chartered boat that will make two one-hour sailings from Rocky Point Park and returns guests at the end of the evening.

Upon arrival, visitors can enjoy sourdough pizzas, ramen, rice bowls and sandwiches in the Butterfly Parlour or a more sumptuous five-course dinner in special glow domes set amidst the forest that become part of a 15-minute synchronized musical light show.

To find out more, as well as book a sailing and make a reservation for dinner, you can go to the event’s website.
