David Avenue in Coquitlam remains closed between Oxford and Soball streets after a collision between two vehicles this morning, Oct. 19, sent a driver to hospital in critical condition.
Coquitlam RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Alexa Hodgins said the collision occurred at 10:21 a.m.
She said Victims Services also were called to attend the scene.
Photos from the scene show a white Toyota and grey SUV with considerable damage to their front ends in the westbound lanes of David where it intersects Coast Meridian Road.
Hodgins said investigators are looking for anyone that may have dash cam or cellphone video of the intersection of Coast Meridian and David between 10 and 10:25 a.m. that may assist their work.
