The red Larson pleasure boat is now leaned up against the dock at Coquitlam's Maquabeak Park.
Coquitlam Fire Chief Jim Ogloff told the Tri-City News today, Aug. 31, that crews are currently on scene to deal with the abandoned pleasure craft.
Ogloff said it's been floating in the Fraser River — under the Port Mann Bridge — since Monday, Aug. 28.
A Tri-City News reader, who provided images of the unattended boat, said the dock is cordoned off and a boom is in place to contain any oil spill.
Ogloff said the Canadian Coast Guard has also been dispatched to remove the vacant vehicle from the river.
