It’s not the first time Parkwood Manor has contributed to SHARE Family and Community Services.

Parkwood Manor seniors in Coquitlam handed a cheque to Darcel Moro of SHARE Family and Community Services in January 2025.

Seniors at a Coquitlam retirement home continue to spread the holiday love to SHARE Family and Community Services.

Last month, residents at Parkwood Manor (1142 Dufferin St.) raised $1,200 through donations, a knitting sale and wreath raffle to give to the Tri-City social services agency “to help those in need,” said spokesperson Theresa Lange.

“We are so proud of our residents,” she told the Tri-City News on Tuesday, Jan. 7.

It’s not the first time the 150-strong group has contributed to SHARE, she said.

Besides the food banks, the charity helps Tri-City residents with counselling and support services, and provides affordable housing units to families in need.

And, soon, tickets will be on sale for SHARE’s 20th annual Imagine 2025 gala, taking place on Saturday, March 8 at the Great Canadian Casino Vancouver.

To sponsor the event or give auction prizes, you can visit the SHARE website.
