An upcoming job fair could help you turn your passion for recreational activities into a paycheque.
On March 8, from 5 to 7 p.m., and Saturday, March 9, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., City of Coquitlam staff working in parks, recreation, culture and human resources will be at the Pinetree Community Centre (1260 Pinetree Way) to provide information about current or upcoming positions.
They'll also help potential applicants through the online application process and share tips to make applications rise above the rest.
The city, according to a news release, is looking to fill positions in its parks, recreation and culture division as well as part-time and auxiliary opportunities.
This includes:
- recreation instructors
- supervisors
- lifeguards
- fitness staff
- leads for children and youth programs
- event staff
