The Ridgeway Community Police Station in Coquitlam will be closed for the next few days as work crews work on the building to deal with recent water damage.
In the meantime, the public is asked to visit the Burquitlam Community Police Station, located at 413-552 Clarke Rd. Calling ahead at 604-933-6833 for hours of operation is recommended.
This is the second time the station had to be closed for repairs in a week. Coquitlam RCMP Cpl. Mike McLaughlin said crews were in the building earlier but the damage was more extensive then realized. It’s not known when the Ridgeway station will re-open.
