A longtime volunteer and business development manager has announced her candidacy for Port Moody council in this fall's civic election.
Cathy Cena (www.facebook.com/cathycena2014), a director on the Crossroads Hospice Society board of directors and a member of Port Moody's Heritage Commission, said she wants to help promote smart growth in the city. Her three issues of focus are transportation, public safety and spending.
City council elections will be held on Nov. 15.
