A family day of fun and food trucks is planned for June Saturday, June 25 in the west Coquitlam neighbourhood of Oakdale.
As many as eight food trucks will be selling their wares at the community block party hosted by Qualex-Landmark and the Greater Vancouver Food Truck Festival.
Qualex-Landmark recently broke ground on a six-storey low rise rental community, called Seasons, on the corner of Regan and Emerson Street behind the Burquitlam Safeway in Burquitlam.
The food truck festival, meanwhile, will take place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 550 Thompson Ave. at the the Greater Heights Learning Academy.
There will be food trucks, a marketplace with 15 local vendors and live music. Everyone is welcome, the event is free and dog-friendly.

- Corndog King
- Mini Donut Factory
- Reel Mac N Cheese
- MO Bacon
- Sirius Cravings
- Cannoli King
There will be picnic tables for seating and free kids' face painting all day by A-Star Art Parlour and a magician.

- DJ H20: 11 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.
- Norden the Magician: 2-2:45 p.m.
- Djh20: 2:45-3:30 p.m.
- Ranj Singh - Indo Canadian Folk Music: 3:30 to 5 p.m.
- Dj H20: 5-6 p.m.
Seasons will be Qualex-Landmark’s second rental project in British Columbia and 24th community built across Western Canada.
It features 116 rental units
The architect is Ramsey Worden Architects, Marcon is the builder, interior design is by BYU and the landscape design is by PFS. Occupancy is slated for 2024.
In all, Qualex-Landmark is planning over 800 homes in Coquitlam across three development projects, offering a a mix of market rental, below market rental, and condominium homes across a mix of town homes, mid-rise and high-rise housing forms.
