Voters in Port Moody-Coquitlam have at least three chances to hear the provincial candidates speak before heading to the polls on April 19:
The Tri-Cities' Chamber of Commerce will host an all-candidates' meeting on Wednesday, April 11 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Inlet Theatre in Port Moody city hall (100 Newport Dr.);
Burquitlam Community Association invites the public to attend its debate, which will take place in the gym at Sir Frederick Banting middle school (820 Banting St., Coquitlam) from 7 and 9 p.m. on Thursday, April 12;
and Pleasantside Community Association will hold its event on Sunday, April 15 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Old Orchard Hall (646 Bentley Rd., Port Moody).
Meanwhile, voters in the Port Moody-Coquitlam provincial byelection can cast ballots early - next week, in fact.
Advance voting will be held from Wednesday, April 11 to Saturday, April 14 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Coquitlam College, 516 Brookmere Ave., Coquitlam and the Port Moody rec complex, 300 Ioco Rd.
Voting day is April 19.
Voters who aren't registered can register at the polls but will be asked to show identification that proves both their identity and current address.
