A Coquitlam arts hub is launching a monthly giving program to tie with the CanadaHelps “Make it Monthly” campaign.
Place des Arts opened its fundraising program today, March 1, that will see donors’ contributions of $20 matched by CanadaHelps.
Located at 1120 Brunette Ave., in the Maillardville neighbourhood, Place des Arts is a nonprofit that provides music, dance and visual arts lessons to residents of all ages and skill levels.
Monthly donations are tax-deductible.
“Monthly donors have the power to create a lasting impact by making the arts accessible for all,” the facility said in a news release.
“A little goes a long way: $25 a month adds up to a significant $300 over the course of the year.
This March, help provide people from all backgrounds, ages and abilities the opportunity to experience the joy of creative expression and greater access to the myriad benefits of arts participation.”
