Waylon Wendramini is listed as one of Metro Vancouver Crime Stoppers' most wanted. His parole jurisdiction is Chilliwack, but he has a history in the Tri-Cities, including offences under the motor vehicle act.

A 45-year-old man with a record of crimes in the Tri-Cities is wanted once again by B.C. police.

A warrant is out for Waylon Vendramini's arrest for a second time in eight months, as noted on Metro Vancouver Crime Stoppers' latest "most wanted" list.

Officers are seeking Vendramini for assault charges out of Chilliwack as of Tuesday (Jan. 24) when the warrant took effect.

He could be anywhere in the Lower Mainland area, including the Tri-Cities where he's been previously charged for offences under the Motor Vehicle Act (MVA) in Coquitlam and Port Coquitlam.

Vendramini has made several appearances in Port Coquitlam Provincial Court, according to B.C. court services.

In April 1997, he was charged for two counts of impaired driving after he was found operating a vehicle with more than 80 mg of alcohol in his body.

Five months later, he was charged again after failing to comply with the MVA for an incident in Coquitlam.

Then, in September 1998, Vendramini was charged for an incident in Maple Ridge — one count of possession of stolen property over $5,000 and two counts of operating a motor vehicle while disqualified.

He's described as:

  • 5'8"
  • 170 pounds
  • Grey/brown hair
  • Blue eyes

Anyone with more information on Vendramini or his whereabouts is encouraged to call 9-1-1 or their local police detachment, anonymously contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or go online to www.solvecrime.ca

Crime Stoppers says a $5,000 reward could be granted if tips and details lead to an arrest and charge.
