The Tri-Cities has spoken.
A total of 75 restaurants and businesses across the region were selected as winners of the Tri-City News' first-ever Eater's Choice contest.
The survey invited Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam and Port Moody residents to poll their favourite establishments, breweries and places to get must-have ingredients.
Its ultimate goal, regardless of outcome, was to salute the local hospitality industry.
"From big chains to hidden gems, the contest results paint a picture of the rich diversity of the local food scene."
John B Pub (1000 Austin Ave.) appeared to be the most popular spot, leading the way with four honours that included "best neighbourhood pub" and "best live entertainment."
The Coquitlam business was one of 13 across the Tri-Cities that earned two or more of the 93 available titles from the inaugural event. Polling was conducted between March 16 and April 9.
