Port Moody's Drummond makes Peak finals

Port Moody resident Greg Drummond is one of 20 musicians and bands in B.C. to be picked as a finalist for this year's Peak radio contest.

On Tuesday, Drummond was shortlisted for the fifth instalment of the Peak Performance Project, which is organized by the radio station 102.7 The Peak.

Finalists will now take part in challenges, including career planning and live performance evaluation, with a week spent at an intensive boot camp in Princeton in August. As well, the Top 20 will perform on July 13 at the Khatsahlano! festival on West 4th Avenue.

The 2013 Peak winner will walk away with a top prize of $102,700.Previous winners of the PPP are We Are The City, Kyprios, Current Swell and Dear Rouge.
