A fundraiser for the Crossroads Hospice Society relaunches for the fall at Port Coquitlam’s Leigh Square.
The next edition of the Crossroads Coffeehouse starts on Sept. 9 with My American Boyfriend, made up of Ellen van der Hoeven of North Vancouver and Tom Rawson from Orcas Island, Washington State.
Doors open at 7 p.m. with open mic beginning at 7:30 p.m.; the headliner takes the stage at 8:50 p.m. in the Gathering Place (1100-2253 Leigh Sq.). Refreshments will be served.
Other performers lined up for the rest of 2022 are the following:
- Sept. 23 - Lowry Olafson
- Oct. 14 - Soda Crackers
- Oct. 28 - Aaron Connaughton
- Nov. 25 - Gram Partisans
- Dec. 9 - All in Good Time
Admission is $5 at the door.
Proceeds support the hospice, which is based in Port Moody. To date, the coffeehouse has raised more than $83,000 to operate the facility.
