Coquitlam's Place des Arts has extended its submissions deadline for an annual miniature exhibition, which starts next month.
Artists now have until Sunday, Oct. 21 to enter their work into the Positively Petite show that happens Nov. 15 to Dec. 21 - just in time for the Christmas shopping season.
The opening gala reception, a wine and cheese affair, is on Thursday, Nov. 15 from 7 to 9 p.m.in conjunction with the opening of the Maillardville centre's Christmas Boutique.
Works in any media are eligible and may be two- or three-dimensional.
Returning artists are required to deliver their work - with artwork identification cards attached - between Friday, Nov. 2 and Thursday, Nov. 8. All works are for sale and artists set prices for their works. Place des Arts retains 30% of the retail price.
