Sixteen students with a Coquitlam dance studio will perform in Hansel and Gretel this weekend.
The danceLAB students - along with their teacher, Brazil native Juliana Gusmon, who will take a lead role - will appear as part of the Coastal City Ballet production on May 5 at The ACT in Maple Ridge and May 6 at the Centennial Theatre in North Vancouver.
The students are Nicole Tomkins, Claire Zhang, Megan Houghton, Briley Hallam, Sabrina Desaulniers, Kennedy Urquhart, Gillian LaRochelle, Veronica Mundell, Grace Robertson, Erika Bernard, Chelsi McNeice, Jessica Shigetomi, Jayci Chambers, Vienna Kliman, Alexandra Shigetomi and Nicole James.
