Riverside secondary's drama teacher is back at the Port Coquitlam school this week - and opening her solo show at the Fringe Festival in Vancouver.
Nicole 'Coco' Roberge is appearing in Come Cuddle Me, running Friday to Sept. 14, at the Carousel Theatre on Granville Island (1411 Cartwright St.).
The play is produced by the Shift Theatre Society. Debuted two years ago for Shift's One-Act Festival at the Inlet Theatre in Port Moody, the 20-minute play is now double in size with Roberge playing seven characters. For tickets at $10 (weekdays) and $12 (weekends), visit vancouverfringe.com.

A documentary by the National Film Board of Canada will be screened at Port Coquitlam's Terry Fox Library next week.
The End of Time tells the story of filmmaker Peter Mettler, who travels around the world to explore the concept of time.
The showing is on Monday, Sept. 9 at 6 p.m. at the library (2470 Mary Hill Rd., Port Coquitlam). Call 604-927-7999.

Photos are sought this and next month for next year's city of Port Moody calendar.
The municipality is looking for images that reflect Port Moody as a "great place to live, work and play - in any season."
To qualify, the pictures must be in jpeg format, at least 300 DPI resolution and in a landscape style. As well, any people appearing in the photo must have signed a release/waiver. Heavily manipulated or retouched images are not eligible.
To apply by the Oct. 15 deadline, drop off your pictures - with your name, phone number and email address as well as a description of each photo - to the city hall reception desk (100 Newport Dr.) or mail a CD to corporate communications (PO Box 36, 100 Newport Dr., Port Moody, V3H 3E1).
