TERRY FOX
British Isles canoe journey: Explorer Chris Cooper presents his remarkable Spirit of Adventure, about a journey of friendship and exploration around the British Isles in Spirit Dancer, his 42-foot ocean canoe. The canoe was tested off the B.C. and Alaska coasts for three seasons before he attempted this epic adventure. The focus, in part, was to give youth and adults from Canada and Britain the unique challenge of travelling in a Canadian icon, the canoe. Don't miss this opportunity to see photographs of his extraordinary journey. This takes place on Monday, April 16 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Penny has written a number of full-length mysteries set in Three Pines, Quebec and starring Chief Inspector Armand Gamache. This shorter and easier to read book follows Gamache and his team as they try to solve the case of a man found hanging is the woods. Was it suicide or was it murder?
