Spooky: Vancouver Paranormal Society presents An Introduction to Modern Ghost Hunting on Oct. 23 from 6:45 to 8:30 p.m. at the Poirier branch. When things go "bump" in the night, who do you call? The Vancouver Paranormal Society has been investigating odd noises and ghostly apparitions since 1993. Using specialized equipment, this group of technicians, psychics and skeptics braves the dark in abandoned attics and spooky cellars to root out the causes of mysterious occurrences - whether they be natural or paranormal. Skeptics and believers alike are invited to learn about the society and its equipment, and to see some visual and audio evidence. Society members will also answer questions. To register for this free program, leave a message at 604-937-4155.
