Parents, if you have a son or daughter in kindergarten to Grade 3 who would like to be a better reader, Reading Buddies at Port Coquitlam's Terry Fox Library is a way to get extra practice.
The program is free and your child will have a chance to read with teen volunteers. Parents can pick up an application form at the library's information desk. The next session runs Mondays from Jan. 9 to Feb. 13, 3:45 to 4:30 p.m.
