As part of the University of Fun Stuff series for older adults, join Jim McArthur as he presents Linguistics at Dogwood Pavilion on Wednesdays, 10 to 11:30 a.m. from Jan. 22 to Feb. 26.
This course will look at how and why language changes and how these changes affect us. It will include an overview of the development of English, from its Germanic origins to texting.
