Remember the days of back-seat bingo or dragging for pink slips?

For all the cool cats out there who are looking to for something hip to do this weekend, KMS Tools (110 Woolridge St., Coquitlam) wants to take you down memory lane with its 16th annual KMS Tools Charity Show and Shine, to be held Saturday, June 18 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. With more than 200 pre-1972 cherry screamers (hot rods), it's a favourite show for many car buffs. Show cars are travelling from all corners of British Columbia to participate in this year's event - maybe it's because of the thousands of dollars in cool prizes to be won for both car exhibitors and spectators.

The KMS annual Show and Shine is one of the most successful fundraisers for Team Mexico. Funds raised from this show will help them build houses and schools in less privileged parts of Mexico.
