In Coquitlam, set out your food waste in the green can because it is collected first on garbage day.

In Port Moody, residents have been issued wildlife-resistant carts but they must still be locked up so bears can't get at them.

In Port Coquitlam, keep carts in a locked garage or basement until garbage day or purchase a city-approved locking device. Critter Guard locks are available for $75. Call 604-992-5353 to arrange an appointment.
