A major B.C. veterinary hospital is on the move.
Boundary Bay Veterinary Specialty Hospital — a 24/7 emergency and critical care facility — is relocating to a “bigger” hospital in Surrey from its location on 64th Avenue in Langley.
Construction is already underway at the new site, which is over 26,000 square feet.
A spokesperson says the new address will be at 10436 173 St. with an opening slated for “late” this year.
They add the move will allow more space, more specialists and more services.
"A much larger and more customized ER and ICU along with greater availability (and shorter wait times) for our board-certified veterinary specialty services,” they say.
There will also be a larger emergency room.
