Two suspects were arrested in a stolen car on March 29, 2025. Both had handguns as well.

Vancouver police arrested two suspects, aged 18 and 19, after they tried to flee police in a stolen car.

The incident started around 8:30 p.m. on March 29 in Vancouver's West End.

Police attempted a traffic stop near Denman Place Mall, but the suspects fled the scene in the car, heading south.

They didn't get too far, though, as they hit two vehicles (one parked and one occupied). Those in the occupied vehicle were not seriously injured, according to the police.

The suspects were subsequently caught by police at Denman and Pendrell streets.

"The suspects, aged 18 and 19, were armed with handguns. One of the suspects was tasered by police," states Sgt. Steve Addison in an email to V.I.A.

The suspects received medical attention after the incident and remain in police custody as of March 30.

"The investigation is ongoing and we anticipate multiple criminal charges," Addison says.
