Man, 43, charged with second-degree murder in 2022 fatal Kelowna stabbing: RCMP

KELOWNA — RCMP say a 43-year-old man is facing a second-degree murder charge in a fatal stabbing that left another man dead in Kelowna, B.C., almost two years ago.

KELOWNA — RCMP say a 43-year-old man is facing a second-degree murder charge in a fatal stabbing that left another man dead in Kelowna, B.C., almost two years ago.

Police say they were called to a business in downtown Kelowna after receiving a report that a group of people were involved in an altercation on Oct. 9, 2022.

They say emergency workers found an injured man at the scene who died despite life-saving measures.

He was later identified as 32-year-old Devon Foster.

Police say they made the arrest on Friday and the accused remains in custody.

They say the BC Prosecution Service is investigating the case and no further details will be provided.
