SHARE drive

LFT Group Brands (2170-580 Nicola Ave., Port Coquitlam) hosts its second annual Community Giving fundraiser for SHARE Family and Community Services, a social services agency in the Tri-Cities. Last year, the company raised nearly $1,000 as well as 190 pounds of non-perishable food for the organization through public outreach, plus a raffle and silent auction at a Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce event. Cash and food contributions — especially rice, lentils, canned tuna, chunky tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, beans in tomato sauce, cooking oil and pasta — can be dropped off at the business from noon to 5 p.m.; donors can also receive special promotions from the company.
